It figures that before showing you how things are going to change for you in working with Ubuntu, you might benefit from learning where things are similar. Things like groups, users, ports and devices might sound familiar if you've used Windows NT through XP to some extent. If you havn't - don't worry, these would be explained more than just relying on you knowing them in advance.

Linux is coming!

班里的PC又中毒了，Kaspersky好像并没有起什么作用而且占用了那么多内存，Faint!
安全，Windows的噩梦!早已厌倦了一遍又一遍的查毒杀毒，重装系统，Ghost来Ghost去，Faint!
一般的，班里的PC无非就是老师放放PowerPoint，做做Excel，画画几何画板，同学放放电影，听听歌，而且班级间并未联网，所以病毒多是从U盘里带来的。纵然有国内国际知名安全软件，病毒依然来去自如。
简单的，其实用Linux替代Windows是最好的解决方案！比如Ubuntu就自带了OpenOffice，完全满足日常教学需要，最主要的是流行的Windows病毒在Linux上根本就是个普通文件，run不了！有了这个，且不谈Linux其它优点，就足够让我们偷着乐了。
普及Linux，势在必行！

各国的笔记本自评，还是中国的最~~

美国的笔记本说：“我可以1个月不关机连续工作！”
英国的笔记本说：“我可以1年不充电却可连续工作！”
日本的笔记本说：“我可以连续10年不用维修使用！”
中国的笔记本说：“我可以伪造出你们任何一个牌子！”

确实，Apple iPod shuffle2刚出来没几天，ZyY那儿就开始批量发售了，才是真品的1/3价格！而且“技术”已相当成熟，只有传说中的007黄金眼才可看出与正品的细微差别……搞的我的iPod Nano2拿出来人家都以为是仿的，-_-!

哎，中国仿造无敌！全球限量版的法拉利中国就有7辆（世界上仅有6辆）

当然，和软件盗版一样。假如XP的价格降到中国工薪阶层一天的工资的话，我也会去买正版。可是现在它那遥不可极的价格只能让众人望而却步。
但用盗版毕竟不是长久之计，所以我正在把工作中心向Ubuntu转移，而且将会尽自己最大的努力去普及Linux!

WOW,Ubuntu!

猛烈庆祝今天收到了Ubuntu寄过来的Live CD!

还是去年在Ubuntu.com上看到可以申请免费光盘的,但是当时并没有相信,直到上帝成功拿到光盘,我才悔不迭的填表申请-_-!看邮戳是9 Feb到的学校，因为寒假的缘故所以今天才拿到。从荷兰经法国，差不多20多天，还是挺快的。
一共10张，2 Mac,3 64Bit,5 32 Bit，还带10张Ubuntu的贴纸，真是不错啊！
作为众多Linux版本中的一员，Ubuntu做得确实很好，Jsoi的HHC也钟爱于它。

Ubuntu 现在的最新版本是6.10的，但是邮寄过来的是6.06，所以还是要考虑一下！
